The Hardstaff Group open VOSA Authorised ATF (Authorised Testing Facility)

Monday 29th November- The Hardstaff Group, located at Kingston-on-Soar, Nottingham are pleased to announce the opening of their approved VOSA ATF.

For the past 10 years, the company have been operating as a VOSA approved MOT Designated Premises (DP) and have now transferred to ATF. The last DP was conducted on Friday 26th November with the new ATF going live on Monday 29th November.

An ATF is a defined site where statutory Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) and Public Service Vehicle (PSV) testing can be carried out in a consistent manner by VOSA staff using approved equipment. ATF premises are not owned by VOSA but are authorised by VOSA to offer HGV and PSV testing.

Nick Wright, Nottingham Station Manager from VOSA was present at the opening and commented; “The Hardstaff Group is a well established company with great understanding and experience. This is the first 3rd party company to offer this service in Nottingham that has transferred from DP to VOSA ATF. Hopefully this will allow other companies to follow in Hardstaff’s footsteps and also transfer. At present Hardstaff will offer testing three days a week, as our strategy changes we are hoping this will increase to five days.”

Scott Simpkins, Parts and Service Manager, commented “It’s a great achievement becoming the first ATF site in the Nottingham area and we hope the close relationship The Hardstaff Group shares with VOSA continues to benefit both our current and future customers.”
