T Baden Hardstaff Limited, the midlands based innovative and professional road haulage and distribution provider were nominated for a category at the prestigious 1998 Motor Transport Awards held at the Royal Albert Hall on 9 July. The joint achievement in qualifying as one of the four finalists in the “Partnerships in Logistics” category highlighted the teamwork between T Baden Hardstaff Ltd and Henderson-Bostwick Ltd, the UK’s largest industrial door manufacturer.
The introduction of new technology and operating systems revolutionised the whole method of distribution and quality of service whilst giving a genuine cost saving. The vehicle carrying capacity doubled and general safety and environmental standards improved.
The judges praised the partnership with Henderson-Bostwick as “An excellent example of a small company providing technical solutions involving trucks and auxiliary equipment to offer substantial benefits to the customer”. T Baden Hardstaff Limited, leading from the front through innovation!
