Umbilical Trailer
Hardstaff’s patented custom umbilical coupling design allows for a combination of LNG and CNG to be used, with the LNG tank being mounted on the tractor unit and the CNG cylinders mounted on the trailer. This coupling method allows for increased natural gas capacity suitable for longer distance use.
Figure 8 below shows a diagram of the combined LNG and CNG system and the coupling of the CNG supply from the trailer.
The Hardstaff umbilical coupling system is designed for optimum performance with air and electrical connections maintained free of grease and contaminants; promoting a safer environment for drivers.
Umbilical can carry gas supply only, using original coils for other services, or can combine all service lines and gas supply into one umbilical bundle.
