Tipping Operations
We are able to provide for both producers and users of bulk products a first class distribution service tailored to meet the individual requirements. From our bases at Nottingham, Barton under Needwood and Uttoxeter we operate a modern fleet of fifty, 44 tonne tippers that serve a wide selection of high profile businesses in the construction and building products sector throughout the Midlands and beyond.
By developing a close working relationship with these customers we have built an excellent reputation for our ability to move raw materials to tight, variable demand patterns. In many cases this complements the movement of finished product provided by our general fleet in a single package. Being conscious of the effect of raw material costs to our customers, we adopt a joint proactive approach to the supply chain that has provided many on-going benefits.
Supported by an experienced flexible workforce and KPI monitoring, Hardstaff have been instrumental in successfully introducing standards comparable with most logistics organisations into the tipping sector.
Vehicle specifications have naturally evolved from our on-going dialogue with customers and now include, insulated aggregate trailers of 40 cubic yard capacity to bulk trailers of 55 cubic yards, many fitted with non-stick liners. All trailers are fitted with reversing cameras and ground level operated sheeting systems, many of which are remotely operated by hydraulics.
